A green grassy knoll and a charming pond, complete with a water fountain, surround this gazebo. Located in our Shade Garden, this enchanted site is perfect as you exchange wedding vows. Fits 100 guests. $500 (This site may be rented for 2-hours Monday – Wednesday for $200).
Small Park w/ Arches
This steel “urban-ique” sculpture offers a modern backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Fits 350 guests. $500
This area is nestled between Crosby Lake, our annual garden display, and our dahlia garden. Nearby weeping willows blow gently in the breeze. A wedding held here will have delightful views all around! Fits 200 guests. $500
Our largest ceremony site offers open space and is flanked by rows of beautiful Silver Linden trees. A charming gazebo adds to the ambiance. Fits 500 guests. $500
Our most intimate ceremony site consists of show-stopping scenery and elegant sculptures. The tranquil serenity of this Garden is perfect for a memorable wedding ceremony. Fits 100 guests. $1,500
Extensive views and a vast amount of space make this our most popular tented reception site. This rental also includes the entire Crosby Conference Center, if it’s available (Terrace & Stables Rooms, along with a small kitchen). Fits 500 guests (outdoor site only). $2,000

The Crosby Conference Center includes the Terrace and Stables Rooms, along with a small kitchen. The Terrace Room has large glass doors which provide a fantastic view of the Sycamore Allée. The charming brick patio can be set for cocktails, mingling and dancing. Free WiFi. Seats 80 guests.
The Stables Room has windows overlooking our Herb Garden & Hosta Courtyard. If you’re looking for a small reception or rehearsal dinner, this room is ideal. Free WiFi. Seats 25 guests.

Surrounded by lush shade, this cottage is perfect for the bridal party’s preparation. It’s equipped with a kitchen, enclosed porch, living room, dressing room and bathroom. Fits 15 people. $300 (all day)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What time can we have our wedding?
Weddings are booked from 10am – 2pm or 3pm – 7pm. Typical weddings with receptions are 3pm – midnight, with access to the reception area beginning at 8 am for set-up.
Does TBG provide tents, chairs, linens, catering, etc.?
No. We are solely a site rental and only allow Meredith Party Rentals to set-up chairs, tents and tables on grounds. They can be reached at 419.531.9977 for a quote. The prices listed on our website do not include these items. We do provide tables and chairs inside Crosby Conference Center.
Can we use our own catering?
Yes. Renters can use any catering service they prefer.
Can I tent my wedding site?
Tenting is allowed for receptions only.
What if it rains?
We do not offer refunds due to rain. You may rent our Terrace Room or an outdoor tented reception site as a back-up plan. Most brides use their reception venue as a back-up.
Can we have alcohol at our reception?
Yes, but the renter must provide proof of liability insurance and follow all rules and laws. A Metroparks Ranger must be on duty at a $35 per hour charge paid by the renter.
Can we have electricity and/or a deejay?
Yes. Electricity can be provided at all rental sites EXCEPT at the Grand Allée. Music must be kept at reasonable levels and played no later than 11pm in respect for TBG’s neighbors.
Are there restrooms?
Yes. There are restrooms located in the picnic area and in the Crosby Conference Center. There are no restrooms south of Crosby Lake.
Do you rent golf carts to transport guests?
No. Golf carts on premises are restricted to TBG staff only.
Do you rent wheelchairs? We do not have wheelchairs to rent.
What is your cancellation policy?
Refunds are given if event is cancelled 6 months prior to event with the refund equaling 50% of payment. In the event of cancellation less than 6 months prior to the event, your rental fee may be used for another event of equal value within a year of the original scheduled date, as long as we receive written notice within 60 days of your event date. Refunds are not provided due to inclement weather (unless garden is closed for weather emergency).
What don’t you allow at TBG?
We do not allow indoor smoking, pets, signage, decorations on garden displays, arches, the use of glitter/confetti, releasing of birds, balloons, rice, bird seed, flower petals, etc. Candles may be used in enclosed containers. Also, parking is not allowed on grass, walkways, or trails.
