Trees Merit Badge in Honor of Arbor Day

Who Should Attend: Girl Scout Cadettes

“Arbor Day is not like other holidays. Each of those reposes on the past, while Arbor Day proposes for the future.”    ~ Julius Sterling Morton

Did you know trees have their own holiday?  Come learn more about the largest living organisms on earth and why we should honor them.  Each Scout in attendance will take home a free tree to plant.  4/5 requirements for merit badges will be completed.

Gardener Merit Badge

Who Should Attend: Girl Scout Juniors

Juniors will be diggin’ this merit badge.  Scouts will complete 4 of 5 requirements including a make and take experiment they can watch, plant, and then grow on their own.
