Partial Sun: Textural and Colorburst Combination

Dead Nettle (Lamium sp.) mixed with Copperleaf (Aclypha) provide an amazing contrast in texture while the Sonic New Guinea Impatien (Impatien ‘Sonic Orange’) provides a dramatic year round flower power. During the course of the season the dead nettle will trail over the edge of the homeade planter. The container itself is a painted apple bushel that was lined with a semi-permeable membrane and painted by one of TBG’s youngest volunteers. The container may last for one to two years before breaking down.
