What is the admission fee to visit Toledo Botanical Garden?
There is none! The Garden is open free to the general public, except during some
special events. Our generous donors make it possible to keep the Garden’s gates
open free to the public all year long.

Is the Garden a Metropark?
Yes, Toledo Botanical Garden is a public/private partnership between the Metroparks
of the Toledo Area and the non-profit Toledo Botanical Garden Board, Inc. in
collaboration with the City of Toledo.
Does the Garden close for the winter?
No, Toledo Botanical Garden is open all year long. Each season offers a unique
kind of beauty, so come visit us often!
How large is the Garden? Will it take me a long time to see it all?
The Garden encompasses over 60 acres of lush landscape. The length of your visit will depend
on the depth of your Garden exploration. You could spend a quick
30 minutes or an entire day taking in all of the sights, sounds, and scents.
When are the Artist Village buildings open?
Each Resident Organization maintains separate hours, which can be found in Cultivation
magazine, by contacting the organizations individually (see Resident Organizations
page on this site), or by calling 419-936-2986.
Is the Garden handicapped accessible?
Yes, the Garden can accommodate handicapped visitors, although there are some unpaved
and uneven pathways that may present a challenge to those with limited mobility. The
meeting facilities and restrooms are handicap accessible and there are several designated
parking spaces for handicapped visitors.
Can I get married at the Garden?
Yes, we do allow weddings at the Garden, which are often lovely ceremonies set amidst
