Many visitors enjoy exploring the Garden on their own. But for those who wish to learn more about TBG, we offer docent-guided tours. Experienced and friendly docents will lead your group on a fun and informative adventure through the Garden. With in-depth knowledge of Toledo Botanical Garden and its history, our docents will provide a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages and interests.

Our docents will enrich your exploration of our tranquil Shade Garden, our colorful Perennial Garden, and our many specialty gardens, including Rose, Herb, Hosta, Dahlia, Pioneer, and Vegetable. You will also learn the value the arts play in the Garden through our many sculptures and unique Artist Village.

We appreciate a three-week advance notice when scheduling a tour. Docent led tours cost $2.00 per person and last approximately one hour. We prefer tour groups to be a minimum of 10 people with a maximum of 90 participants. Our circular parking lot can accommodate Motor Coach Bus tours.
