Toledo Botanical Garden/Toledo GROWs Urban Farm and Facilities Coordinator

Toledo Botanical Garden (TBG), is seeking a qualified leader to join our diverse community gardening and urban agriculture team working through the Toledo GROWs program as the Urban Farm and Facilities Coordinator. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with the primary responsibility of developing and overseeing all food growing operations and building/property maintenance of the Robert Anderson Urban Agriculture Center, the headquarters for the Toledo GROWs program. This person assists in Toledo GROWs program’s mission to provide support and education for gardeners in our community, assisting them with sustainable growing practices. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary.

Toledo Botanical Garden/Toledo GROWs Community Garden Liaison

Toledo Botanical Garden (TBG), is seeking a qualified leader to join our diverse community gardening and urban agriculture team working through the Toledo GROWs program as a Community Garden Liaison.  This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with the primary responsibility of interacting with individuals and community organizations to maintain existing community gardens.  This person is involved with planning meetings, program logistics and preparation, maintenance of and tracking produce from open-access beds in the gardens, providing expertise to and working alongside community gardeners, as well as communicating with current and potential community gardeners.  The position is funded through a grant from ProMedica, which expires December 30, 2016. Continuation of employment past that date is contingent upon securing funding.  Some evening and weekend work will be necessary.
